Improve the sharp angle of your volleys easily with this one movement!
In the video above PlayYourCourt founder and elite pro Scott Baxter helps you work on your angle volleys.
The idea behind the movement is that the racket face your strings, wherever they move is where the ball is going to go. Want to punch your volley deep? Make sure you see your strings punch out in the direction that you’re going. So for an angle volley, it’s important to trust how aggressive that racket movement in front of your face needs to be to get that sharp angle.
Simply: try and take the direction of your strings and push them in front of your nose. You should see that racket move across your face and the movement will generate that sharp angle volley.
