ABOUT Charlie

I have a deep love of tennis. I began playing at 16, and began attending a junior program in Tucson, AZ. I trained under a former professional tennis player, as well as many former college players. I consistently played at least 5 days a week, taking private lessons as well, until enlisting in the Marine Corps at 22. I have now been giving private tennis lessons for about 3 years. As far as my teaching style, I can tailor it to each player. I have coached all ages, as young as two. I like to dig into the mind game a bit, and am aware that there are many different styles of technique. I am not dogmatic in relation to technique, however, there are certain aspects of the game that are universal, such as certain footwork techniques. I am very relaxed, but will push hard if requested.
